The Asian giants i.e. China and India have embarked upon  an  African Safari  which the west pursued hopelessly. The Chinese  investment in  Africa is largely dominated by State-owned enterprises on the contrary India drives through its private sectors. The explosive rise of the giant nations also attributes to the replacement of North-South Polarity to  strengthening of  South-South relationship.The post cold war neo-liberal  ’free markets’ paradigm has practically opened out the introvert  colonialist thought process. It also ends the simple uni-polar and Bipolar world to and more dynamic and complex multipolar global economic system. The hunt for abundance of variety of African resources including significant natural oil reserves, diamonds etc and the ever growing energy needs of China and India complement each of the factors of demand and supply.
